Vikki Holden
English Teacher
I grew up in Ireland and after completing my English Literature degree, I moved to France to do a ski season in Val Thorens. I loved skiing so much I ended up staying there for 3 years! It was during my ski seasons that I met my partner and we decided to move to Seignosse. I have been an online English consultant for a while now – I have always had a passion for teaching and combining this with my love for meeting new people; I decided to make my teaching career in France more permanent.
I have lots of hobbies from reading books to sports such as skiing, tennis, surfing and horse riding. Best of all, I love taking long walks along the beach with my 6 month old puppy! I am an outgoing and friendly person who always enjoys going for a drink and having long chats with friends. I have an energetic, positive outlook on life and I hope to incorporate that into my teaching to bring joy and knowledge to others.
Francesco Mursia
Italian Teacher
Ciao! I’m from Vicenza, Italy. In addition to Italian, my mother tongue, I speak English, and I’m currently developing my French skills. I spent the last ten years in the US, in San Francisco, and arrived in Biarritz at the end of 2019. After learning French myself at the Inspire Academy, I decided to start teaching Italian because I love their language coaching approach.
I’m an artist working in photography, voiceover, and music. When I’m not working on my next project, I’m practicing yoga, trying to surf, working my way through new recipes, and indulging my love for art, design, and craft. Apprenez l’Italien avec moi!
Angelica Chacon Ramirez
Spanish Teacher
My name is Angélica Chacon. Originally from the Colombian capital where I was a FLE teacher, I decided to come to France to improve my fluency in French. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, French and English in Colombia and a Master’s degree in Arts, Letters and Civilizations, Spanish course in France. Although I love my beautiful and chaotic Bogota, I have always dreamed of living in the country of baguettes and cheese.
After gaining experience in gastronomic and starred restaurants, I decided to return to my passion: teaching French as a foreign language and Spanish, my mother tongue. The sharing of cultures, the nuances of languages and the creation of teaching tools according to the needs of each student are the points that attract me most in my job.
MY METODOLOGY:
Learn and/or improve Spanish while taking into account the nuances of the language. Although there is only one SPANISH LANGUAGE, we cannot forget the linguistic variables between Spain and each Spanish-speaking country in Latin America.
Emphasize oral and written production, as well as oral and written comprehension in order to easily establish a dialogue with a Spanish speaker.
To practice the language in real conditions, in a café, a restaurant, to phone a native speaker.
To respect the learning rhythm of each student, to see his weak points as well as his strong points in order to adapt his working method so that he keeps his desire and motivation.
Laila Puehringer
My name is Laila Puehringer and I am living the dream as a Professional Kitesurfer on the French Basque coast.
Austrian-born, to a Morrocan Mother and Austrian Father growing up in Vienna, I spent half of my childhood in Morocco by the Atlantic. This built my passion for the ocean and water sports, travelling the world and learning languages. It was also through travelling that I was blessed to meet my husband, the love of my life and best friend. My experiences helped me learning English, Spanish, and French, and my love for languages and knowing different cultures continues to grow and is a part of my heart.
My love for the ocean and water ? Let’s just say I learned how to swim before I learned how to walk. In 2006, I moved to the Cabarete, Dominican Republic for two years and that’s where my kite surfing career took off.
I am now spending most of the year living in Biarritz, chasing waves and following my dreams. Most of the time you’ll find me in the water, surfing, swimming or snorkling.
When I am not in the water, you can find me teaching German, working for my company Faites Du Vide or spending time in my garden. I am afraid of knifes and canceled flights. I love Sushi and Moroccan food and if I could, I’d eat it everyday.
Enviromental protection is very important to me. My goal is to encourage people to live in harmony with nature and do their part every day to live more sustainable and ocean friendly lives.
Marion Leprieur
French Teacher
Hello I’m Marion, I’m passionate about swimming snowboarding, climbing, boxing, dancing and yoga, I also love travelling, reading and cinema. I’m also a volunteer in the Vinci-Samu social association in Grenoble and I’m in charge of swimming lessons at the Grenoble-Alpes University. In 2019 I participated in the English Language Program 2019-2020 at the University of Leeds. In addition, in 2021 I obtained my diploma (DAEFLE) with honours at the Alliance Française in Marseille. I followed a training course in education at a distance (CNED). I worked in England in a state school as a French language assistant. This first experience allowed me to be in contact with students, teaching small groups but also sometimes whole classes; supporting the work of the teachers and providing pedagogical support to the students. It taught me how to deal with teenagers and how to create interactive and interesting lessons, adapted to the level of each student.

Lola Borie
French Teacher
Hello everyone!
My name is Lola Borie, I am a French as a Foreign Language (FLE) teacher at The Inspire Academy.
I have a degree in English from the University of Bordeaux, which I completed with an Erasmus program in England, and I continued with a Master’s degree in French as a Foreign Language.
I love teaching French to foreigners and I love teaching English as well, but why not other languages for later?
I chose The Inspire Academy because I immediately appreciated the values transmitted and the way of teaching, and I do not regret it at all.
Thanks to this experience, I am learning to trust myself as a professional, but I am also learning a different type of pedagogy which allows me to adapt to the student according to his objectives.
If I had to choose 3 words to describe The Inspire Academy, they would be: inspiring – friendly and caring.
